The Louisiana Omicron Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta was chartered in 1941 as Theta Kappa Phi, making it the first and oldest chapter at UL Lafayette.
Phi Kappa Theta began in 1959 as the union of the two older catholic fraternities (Phi Kappa & Theta Kappa Phi), it was the first true merger in the history of the American fraternal system. While historically Catholic in foundation and values, membership to Phi Kappa Theta is open to interested men of all faiths and backgrounds!
Phi Kappa Theta takes pride in hard work, ongoing development, and growth.
Phi Kappa Theta seeks men who display their 5 Pillars:
Brotherhood, Faith, Friendship, Loyalty, and Respect.
They actively develop men to be effective leaders who passionately serve society, fraternity, and God.
