Louisiana Omicron Chapter
Give, Expecting Nothing Thereof
The Louisiana Omicron Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta was chartered in 1939, making it the oldest and most historic chapter at UL Lafayette. Phi Kappa Theta began in 1959 as the merging of the two older catholic fraternities (Phi Kappa & Theta Kappa Phi), it was the first of its kind in the history of the American fraternal system. While we are a historically Catholic values based fraternity, membership to Phi Kappa Theta is open to interested men of all faiths and backgrounds!
Since its founding, Phi Kappa Theta has sought out men who display their 5 Pillars: Brotherhood, Faith, Friendship, Loyalty, and Respect.
LA Omicron seeks to actively develop men to be effective leaders who passionately serve society, fraternity, and God.
The men of Phi Kappa Theta take pride in the hard work, ongoing development, and growth of the chapter and are constantly striving to become the cornerstone example of Greek life at UL Lafayette.
